James & Doris do wonderful, affordable work and we have many of their heishi necklaces. Doris began working with heishi when she was 13, learning from her parents. Today, her husband works with her and she has passed on her knowledge to her five daughters who also work stringing and polishing the work. The bird fetishes on this turquoise necklace are hand carved of serpentine, jet, turquoise and pipestone measuring 1.5 inches and 2 inches long. A great necklace for an above average size person. Handmade silver cones at clasp. A beautiful and powerful piece.
